About DirectX End-User Runtime
The DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer installs the legacy DirectX 9.0c, 10 and 11 components (D3DX, XInput, XAudio) that many games still need. It is the official fix for errors such as "d3dx9_43.dll is missing", "xinput1_3.dll not found" or "X3DAudio1_7.dll missing".
What it does
- Installs missing legacy DirectX libraries on Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 11
- Fixes d3dx9_xx.dll, d3dx10_xx.dll, d3dx11_43.dll, xinput1_3.dll, xaudio2_7.dll errors
- Does not replace or downgrade DirectX 12 — it adds side-by-side components
- Required by GTA IV / San Andreas, Skyrim, older Call of Duty, many Steam games
- Official Microsoft download; safe to run on any Windows version
What's New in vJune 2010 (9.29.1974)
- Final legacy DirectX redistributable (June 2010)
- Includes all D3DX, XInput and XAudio2 versions
